The Sparkle of Delhi’s Ramlila
As night deepened, Delhi’s grand Ramlila shone with even greater splendour.
The stage overflowed with the emotion and music of the Ramkatha, but the true attraction lay in the crowd where Manoj Tiwari ji mingled freely with the people.
Every moment in his presence carried a unique energy.
When Shri Ram Dharmik Ramlila Samiti Chairman Satish Upadhyay ji smilingly invited—
“Manoj ji, please narrate the Ramkatha,”
the entire pavilion resounded with a wave of applause.
Manoj Tiwari’s Spontaneous Parashuram Dialogue
Without any formal preparation, Manoj Tiwari ji gracefully took the microphone and began singing the Parashuram Samvad.
His sweet Bhojpuri voice and heartfelt rendition mesmerised the audience.
He explained that the message of Lord Parashuram was never about the destruction of any caste or community,
but about the triumph of Dharma and the defeat of injustice.
Only through truth, compassion, and unity can lasting peace prevail in society.
As his powerful voice echoed, the entire ground was drawn into that divine episode of the Ramkatha, ringing with chants of joy and devotion.
A Night to Remember – Among the People till Midnight
I too had the privilege of staying with him that night.
Till 12:30 AM, Shri Sanjeev Choudhary ji remained equally active alongside him.
Moving through the crowd, Manoj Tiwari ji’s enthusiasm and natural warmth were remarkable.
That night, I witnessed up close:
The sweetness and endearing charm of Bhojpuri in his speech,
His habit of making eye-to-eye contact with every person,
His ability to connect the ideals of Ram and Ramayana with the modern world,
His passion for keeping folk culture alive beyond the boundaries of politics.
Because of these qualities, the Ramlila was no longer merely a religious event;
it became a living festival of social unity and cultural pride.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision & Manoj Tiwari’s Reflections
The ideals of the Ramayana continue to inspire even today.
Manoj Tiwari ji highlighted how these values are reflected in many of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives:
Swachh Bharat, Digital India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat – selfless efforts to uplift every section of society.
Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat – programmes that embody the spirit of including the underprivileged.
Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Ayodhya Ram Mandir – projects that give India’s spiritual faith a global identity.
Manoj Tiwari ji said these initiatives remind us that sacrifice and service are the greatest strengths in building a nation.
The Lesson from the Ram–Bharat Dialogue
Among the most touching episodes of the Ramayana is the Ram–Bharat dialogue,
where Bharat renounces his rights and selflessly embraces the ideals of Lord Ram.
In his Ramkatha narration, Manoj Tiwari ji explained:
“If love is true, it carries no selfishness—only the spirit of sacrifice and service.”
This message remains a guiding light for our society and leadership even today.
A Single Path – Unity, Service & Selfless Love
In the quiet of the night, amidst the crowd—
Satish Upadhyay ji’s smiling call to “share the Ramkatha,”
Manoj Tiwari ji’s spontaneous start with the Parashuram Dialogue,
his reflections on Prime Minister Modi’s selfless initiatives,
and the eternal lesson of sacrifice from the Ram–Bharat dialogue—
all point in one direction:
Only through unity, service, and selfless love can society and the nation be truly built.
